Monterey Car week has many manufactures competing for the spotlight and Ferrari is no exception.
Casa Ferrari is held on the famous Pebble Beach Concours grounds, and 2018 saw Ferrari convening it long history of spiders, everything from the Ferrari 250 California to the Mondial T. The most notable of this was not one but four of the ten 275 GTS/4 N.A.R.T Spiders, as well as two of the ten F60 Super americas.
A great way to celebrate the launch of Ferraris 50th spider.
Billed as the 50th open top model, the 488 Pista is Ferraris highest ever performing spider.
It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with 711bhp and 568lb ft of torque and it will go from 0-100kph in 2.85s, 0-200kph takes 8.0s and on top speed of 340kph.
Ferrari haven’t released the price but it is expected to be over €300,000.

The 33nd annual Concorso Italiano was held at the Blackhorse golf course in Monterey, California, on August 25th, 2018. Concorso Italiano’s unique format features more than 600 vehicles of Italian origin, everything from Fiat 500 to Ferrari Testarossa and Cadillac Allante.
The Cadillac Allante might seem out of place but it was actually designed and partly built by the Italian Coach builder Pininfarina at its San Giorgio factory in Canavese, Torino.
Anniversay Tributes tend to be a common theme during car week. This year saw the 50th anniversaries of the Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Islero and Espade.
It wasn’t just classics on show, Manifattura Automobili Torino brought two new sport cars, The New Lancia Stratos thats and the ATS GT.
This 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 is a rather unique example as it has remained completely unrestored.
